For some reason when I tried to load THX trustudio pro it says that there is no supported audio device when a week ago or so it worked perfectly fine.

    Any way around this?

Check your device manager. Under sound, video, and game controllers does your creative sound blaster audio device show up. If it doesn't, then you have the same audio device disconnect problem as other R4 users. They are reporting the sound blaster device is disconnecting from the system at random. Are you on the latest BIOS for the R4 (its A05).

Yeah I have the latest BIOS. The sound is working perfectly fine, along with the in-built mic. It's just I cannot gain access to the THX trustudio software, which is annoying me. I can't seem to find a download either because I was thinking of uninstalling it and perhaps downloading an older version. I am assuming it's on disc only?

    Here is the download link.

I'm afraid there is no previous version for this software. You can uninstall it and reinstall this program. Or, you can rollback with AlienRespawn.

Thanks for that Lee. But now I have another problem -.-

I had to reroll back the driver, then install the new driver (the link you provided), now the sound blaster control panel is back up again, but I cannot utilize any of its functions as apparently I don't have any devices to support it =/

Hmm it's so weird LOL. Open the Control Panel, then go to Device Manager. Do you see any exclamation point on the Sound, video and game controllers? Click on the plus sign to open the whole thing.

Ok, hrm, I don't know if this is a software issue, but when I play anything thru the speakers, it comes out fuzzy and highly distorted, and advice?
