    Hey, I'm wondering whether the IDT sound card on the m17x is 7.1 or not. I'm not really liking the IDT one cause of the bass. If not, what and where should I get a good 7.1 card? Also what Video card upgrade should I get from the GTX 460m, this one is giving me random BSOD's ever since it came out of the box and Dell refuses to replace the card/system. My m17x is not 3D so I was thinking of the 480m or something. Any suggestions would help! ^^

    I can't help with your sound questions. I'm not a fan of IDT either though. I would get the latest video card that was available for your system. That will lengthen the system's effective life span.

    I believe so if you're going green. The 6990M if you're going red.
