This is a general question for those who already have thier R3....

I was wondering if you were disappointed with the sound (specifically the volume) level of the R3's speakers. On my unit it is EXTREMELY soft, and I find myself having to max out the volume to hear anything in a quiet room. Just wanted others' opinions\thoughts.

    Thanks

Haven't had any issues with that myself, have you checked both the windows and IDT audio control panels? They're not stadium speakers by any means but they work well for me.

Definitely checked the Windows Sounds, will have to take a peek at the IDT panel...

    Thanks for the help.

Check drivers too. Wouldn't be the first time drivers were incorrect or somehow default to basic default drivers...

It's disappointing compared to the old XPS 17 I had :(
