I'm getting some speaker buzzing on the right side of my m17x r3. Its from the outlet. Im wondering if this is a common issue, and if i can contact dell to replace them even though its from the outlet ( its not a cosmetic issue, its a hardware as it says in their warrenty). Its not even when i crank up the volume much, feels like something is vibrating in there, the chasis, speaker, or something. Thanks guys.

My first R3 did that. In fact, if you search the forums, you'll see that many people have had this problem. In my case, it was the screen behind the grill that wasn't mounted properly. Maybe not enough adhesive? I ended up exchanging it for another R3, and the new one didn't have this problem.

I have also had the same problem since I purchased my machine about 4 months ago. I keep meaning to call support to get a technician out to fix it but I use headphones for everything so I just haven't been bothered enough yet to call. Mine problem is also on the right side and is noticeable at pretty much any volume.

Mine does it a little at high volumes. Again on the right side.

It's not really bothering me tbh, I'll probably get them to fix it at some point in the next 4 years lol

So I just got off the phone with AW tech support and they tell me in order to fix it I have to send in my system for ~5 business days. The dude told me that after some research they discovered it was faulty wiring and the repair guys they send out aren't qualified to fix it so it the system must be sent in. Needless to say I won't be doing that anytime soon.
