    For some reason every time i open up speedfan my alienware freezes it will load speed fan then before it displays the temps my computer freezes and i have to yank the battery and unplug my adapter can someone help me?

    don't use speedfan, i found it almost useless on my AW. Use HWinfo32 instead. It will monitor your temps and a lot of other usefull things. Really nice software.
