I really want to play this game and I realize that it's buggy and not a good port of the console onto PC, but for those who are playing it on their alienware M17x-R2's what are some optimal settings to play this on? I can't understand if the FrameRate drops are my PC or the bad port, so I constantly try to adjust it. Maybe it's just in my head but I find that playing the game at a HD resolution (1080 or 720) seems to help more so then the normal PC native resolutions.

On my M15x it runs fine at 1080p @ High detail settings. Whats your spec?

Dual 4870's with a i7 720qm, 6 gigs of ram 1333mhz, Samsung 128 GB SSD. I mean this PC is overkill on it isn't it? RGB LED high Res.

Run ThrottleStop and see if you're getting clock modulation throttling (CMod column will go below 100% if it's happening). Make sure Clock Modulation is *not* checked so that it doesn't get locked at 100%.
