    Start Black screen problems with M17X

    Hey there, I have a problem with my m17x , because every time i turn it on without the ac plugged in, (before windows 7 start up), it pop ups a black screen saying ac adapter not plugged in and a annoying ping!!! loud sound . please help thanks!

    Hello and welcome to NBR.

    To turn the warning sound off follow these steps:

    Turn on your laptop.
    Press F2 to access BIOS menu.
    Navigate to Power and Disable the A/C Adapter Warnings option.
    Press F10 to save and exit.
    Enjoy!
