How do you know if your running on stealth mode with the M17x-r2 Windows 7 and how do you get out of it ? I have checked Alienware FAQ, and made some research on the net, but can't find anywhere about where to check if your on it or how to disactivate it.

You can check by trying to activate/deactivate and seeing what the prompt tells you. The shortcut key is on the touch pad. It's the farthest right button that looks like car odometer.

Well, I just found out, in my Control Center, Fusion section, on the left hand panel, it says I am running on Stealth mode.

Whne I press the Stealth mode button on the touch strip, it says :
Stealth Mode access detected. Choose Yes to enable or no to Cancel ?

I press No, but it changes nothing... still says Stealth mode in CC.

Edit: ok I just found I had to press Yes. Thx :)

Try clicking yes, then try disabling it again. Restart and then see if its still enabled.

It always says "stealth mode access detected" but once you click yes it will either say "'stealth mode will be enabled' or 'full power mode will be enabled', press any key to continue" and depending on that prompt you'll know what mode you're in

its actually really confusing that it always says "stealth mode access detected" whether you're currently in full power or in stealth mode.

It should say "press yes to enable stealth mode" when you're at full power

and it should say" press yes to enable full power" when you're in stealth mode

Look at my sig (Alienware Stealth Indicator). I created a small program which displays when you are in sealth mode and when not.
