    Does anyone know what this does in the unlocked BIOS when enabled?

    I dont know, but i would like to find out as well, bump 4 the cause

    After lurking about i found you an answer( i also thought for some reason that it was in the m17x r2 mod bios <-was wrong)


    'Storage Break Event' help='If Enabled, Parallel IDE or Serial ATA master activity will cause BM_STS to be set and will cause a break from C3/C4.'

    C3/C4 Are processor throttling states, lower states = faster perfomance
    if im reading it right.
