    Stuck in Windows 7 Basic.

    After reformatting my laptop, and installing windows 7 it refuses to switch to Aero despite me setting the theme to 'Aero' via (Right-click) > (Personalize) > Under Aero Themes : Selected a random theme.

    Even with an Aero theme selected, there's no effect whatsoever. :/ I don't really mind Basic, but in Basic, windows tend to get minimized when I'm scrolling. -.-!

    Problem resolved: Applying the theme patch from StardockMyColors prior to refreshing the Windows Experience Index is a bad move. Refreshed WEI, removed patch and reapplied. Voila! Aero. :D
