I'm having mild stuttering issues in Crysis 2 and quite bad sttuter in Bulletstorm. In other other games I'll get the odd glitch but nothing bad.

I tried the 11.10 drivers which made everything worse so I'm back on the 11.9 but still get stuttering...

Also tried ThrottleStop just to give it a go but didnt do anything.

Any ideas? I don't know if the drivers are to blame or wether the 6990 has its limits... these games should run fairly smoothly though...

Try crysis 2 with Vsync off and see if that makes a difference. Sometimes crysis 2 caps the fps to 30 on mine with vsync on....not sure why.

i'm running Crysis 2 with DX11 and the ultra textures installed...running it at 1080p at ultra preset and i have no stuttering.

The vid card is overclocked usually to about 815/1150 for everyday gaming though. I'm also running 11.10s with vsync off.

You can try lowering the details and see if the stuttering stops...or overclock the card mildly to see if it helps
