    Sudden jumps in CPU temperature reading

    Whenever I open up HWmonitor, I sometimes see the processor temperature reading suddenly increase or decrease anywhere from 5 to 20 degrees or so for no reason. For example once the reading was around the 70s then it would jump to the 90s and 100s, then suddenly jump back down again. Any idea what might be causing this?

    This only happens with the temp reading on the processor, not the GPU or anything else.
