I ordered my m17x with a 750 GB HD, and I was planning on buying an SSD to install the OS on.

Can anyone suggest a certain brand of SSD I should use? Any other tips are greatly appreciated.

An Intel 510 is great and it is SATA III.

It would be interesting to know wich M17 you own since, for example, a SATA III drive with an R-1 / R-2 will be useless.

As he's just ordered one I would assume he ordered the R3.
