    Hi

Just got my new laptop and the surge protector i had bought for using with it isnt compatable as its a "cloverleaf" style plug.
I bought this for using on a Asus G73JH that i had bought but returned in favour of the m17x (sooooo glad i did that :D )

Question being, anyone got any idea of where i can get an inline style surge protector for my UK m17x? - it has C13/C14 IEC style connectors for the power block but i cant locate anyone who sells 'em

    Thanks in advance.
    Ste

    Hi Falcon

Yeah thats kind of what im after....i have a C13 / C14 style connector on my AW power block.....i can find loads of "in line" style surge protectors but they are all fig 8 or cloverleaf style plugs and not the C14/C13 type i have.

Ideally, i was looking for something switchable, something solely for thhe laptop and not a multi way surge block....just a one way but cant seem to find anything.....

Maybe ill just have to use a 6/8 way normal style but i was looking for something more portable really :(

Yeah, have seen them however i would need one male and one female and i think it would just look like too many adaptors etc....i have seen this Inline Surge Protector, audible alarm (C13 to C14) ISP3 available which looks like it should do the trick nicely.
Just wonder how reliable they are as i dont see a branding...i think they are made by greenbrook (never heard of them !)
