    Hi Everyone,

Forgive me if there's a thread on this already but I've just ordered my very first Alienware system. It's the 17 R4 with 1080 and (I'm now thinking stupidly) the 512Gb boot ssd +1tb HD.

I was wondering how to go about upgrading the boot disk to the newer Samsung 961 nvme SSD and what I'd do with the 512gb.

Sorry if this all sounds noobish. Would just like to make the most out of my AW. Look forward to being part of the community... Finally!

The system that is arriving is 512GB and I was thinking of upgrading it to 1tb Samsung 960 Evo or 960 pro, which is considerably faster than the stock m.2 drive. I was also considering swapping out the mechanical 1tb with a Samsung 850 SSD. Not entirely sure it's compatible though. Need to do some more digging.
