    hi all,
i have m17x r3 here with an ati 6870m gpu and the standard intel gpu.

all has been fine until the last few weeks, where i dont seem to be able to switch to the intel gpu.

fn+f7 brings up the option box, but clicking yes achieves nothing.
rightclick=>config switchable graphics brings up the window but clicking the option boxes again does nothing.

one thing thats really odd is that i cant open ATI CCC properly. it opens but half of the graphics are missing.

ive tried updating driving from Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

    using
    R308386.exe for ATI 6870m
    and
    INTEL_--HD-GRAPHICS-3000_A02_R303343.exe for Intel HD 3000

any help would be much appreciated, im pulling my hair out here.

    cheers

I bleed green, so I'm not the best to answer unfortunately. However, this would probably do better in the M17x section. May want to ask a moderator to move it.

Agree, this belongs in the M17 sub-forum.

You may have already done this but have you tried to uninstall the drivers, reboot and then reinstall?
