I know theres topics on this already but none had a clear issue, I tried searching this on google with no solution. I closed all programs and tried switching battery modes, restarted countless of times. Drivers are all up to date.

I remember coming across someone saying in the task manager, there was some process to end or something? Can anyone help please?

Welcome, my friend. It is not clear what you are trying to do or what problem you are encountering. Are you having difficulty switching between the two graphics cards?

Whoops, i didn't even state my problem. Earlier today I had problems switching to the 6970 card to the intergrated graphics. After a few restarts I got it to switch. But now I can't even switch back even after restarting the computer. I've been dealing with this problem for months now.

I would suggest a clean install of the most recent Dell drivers for the 6970M. Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]. First, uninstall the existing drivers via Control Panel>Uninstall a Program, then right click on AMD Catalyst Install Manager and select Change. Then select Express Uninstall ALL AMD Software. When it finishes, also remove Install Mgr. itself (it will ask). Reboot. If it restarts Windows with anything other than the standard Windows VGA device/driver, then go to Device Manager and remove the drivers and associated software) for the 6970M (if present) and for the Intel IGP. Reboot. When both cards are shown with the VGA driver (one will not start), then you are ready to install the Dell drivers. (If you have installed more recent AMD reference drivers at any time, then it is best to start in Safe Mode (F8 at the Boot Screen) and run Driver sweeper and CCleaner to remove any remnants of the prior drivers). Then go to the folder containing the downloaded Dell Drivers (Ordinarily c:\Dell\Drivers\R309894) and run setup. Select Install and Express when asked. Install Manager will do the rest. When finished, switchable graphics should work properly.
