Okay when i take the power cable out it comes up with the "switcable graphics" option of fn + F7, I press this, and its says "Yes to enable, or No to Cancel"

The issue when i press yes to switch to the intergrated graphics it dosent work, or am i just being dumb? (ive checked in the CCC and it dosent say its changed to Intel HD Graphics, its still on my 6870)

    Any ideas?

Are you able to switch to integrated graphics via CCC? I'm just trying to isolate if its a AMD driver issue or if its an issue with the Alienware software

Wont let me do it in the CCC, asuming its an AMD driver issue then.

Im currently downloading the drivers from AMD (28/Sept/2011) to see if that will resolve it.

Least its not a hardware issue as the keys actually work :)

yeah, the 11.9 drivers. I already have those and it hasnt worked for me...

I feel as though I need to install the integrated drivers over the top of 11.9, but I cant seem to delete or re-install, hence I gave up...

Make sure you don't have any programs running (even browser windows). It won't switch if you do.

erm, well it only opens catalyst control centre, and well the option to apply is just greyed out.

I still think I need to re-install the intel driver - just checking it is this one right?:

Make sure your on newest AMD drivers too via their website, ill ping you a link if you need it.

Also, make sure your not using the new version of messenger as that dosent agree with it at all either apparently.
