iHi, I recently got my m17x r3, and cannot switch my graphics from my AMD 6970 to the intel. fn+f7 wont work, nor will right clicking on the desktop, and doing it manually. It is not because any apps are open, because even if restart it, and close all the apps that open up when I reboot, it still will not work.

    Any help is much appreciated.

Edit: If it helps, when I do press Fn+F7, I get the option to switch, but when I click it, nothing happens. When I am in CCC, clicking on the Intel button does absolutely nothing.

Do you happen to have a logitech mouse? I have heard that it causes issues with the graphics switching. ;)

I can't seem to update my drivers; whenever I try to I get the message saying that I have incompatible hardware/software. :(

    What should I do?

I do have a Logitech mouse and keyboard, but even if they are unplugged it still won't switch. :(

its the driver that's the problem, have you tried uninstalling the software and seeing if the computer will switch?

Oh wow thanks that fixed it.

Now is there any way that I can have my logitech gaming keyboard work while still having switchable graphics. :D

Edit: It works as a regular keyboard if I plug it in, but I can't use any of my macro keys or change the colors without the software installed.
    :(

Aw, that's too bad. Hopefully you guys figure it out :). Thanks again for your help. I thought this was something having to do with a faulty system, and it would've been upsetting. Dell already messed up by sending me a 1600x900 screen instead of a 1080p, a regular dvd/cd optical drive instead of bluray, and a 6970 instead of a 6990 lol. A tech is coming out to replace all of it a couple of hours, but I really didn't want to have another problem.

aw man that sucks, hope the replacement goes smoothly for you. I'm not sure whose problem this is,(Dell, AMD, or Logitech). :(
