Hey guys, trying to get the Alienware set up to my liking. Unfortunately, I'm not able to use the Synaptics touchpad to "scroll" in things like Google Chrome, Explorer, etc. All of my other laptops have had the capability, and going into the mouse settings, it says it's enabled. Am I missing something?
I got pinch zoom and resize to work just fine.
EDIT: Mods, you can lock this. I figured it out. It wasn't enabled under the settings of scrolling.

Good to see you figured it out
I'll leave it open for any further discussion on the subject. -
Thanks Katalin. For those newcomers like myself, if you find that it doesn't work for you either, first thing is update your drivers from synaptics webpage to get the latest drivers.
Once they're installed, you should have the synaptics icon in your tray at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Double click it, and when the window opens, click on Device Settings.
Once there, click:
-Settings
-Scrolling (Ensure that it's showing a checkmark)
-Also, when you highlight scrolling, there is a "options/settings" icon and a (?) Icon. Click on the options/settings and ensure the checkmark is next to "enable touchpad scrolling". You can enable horizontal scrolling and vertical scrolling separately.
That's it, you're done! -
Two finge scrolling like on a Mac is also available with the new synaptics driver.

Yes, it's called Synaptics Scrybe:
SYNAPTICS | Scrybe
Synaptics Touchpad scrolling
