    Hey everyone on 6/30/2011 a system exchanged was place for my previous laptop. This is not my first go around with a system exchange my first one dealt with my R1, in about a week i had my new system and i was ready to go.

    with this exchange its been almost 2 weeks and im starting to wonder where my laptop might be it hasn't been canceled, but here is the weird thing i go to look at my shipping status it does not give an ETA. any ideas on what i should do as in calling alienware or just waiting out the week!

    Also i saw some where that with system exchanges on the status report of your order they dont change it to shipped until you have it in your hand is this true?

    My experience (2X) has been 10-14 days and usually it'll show shipped right before or when you get it. I signed up for email alerts and never got one and got both computers. So something is jacked on their end. Patience grasshopper!!!

    haha i usually am good about waiting cause i know me stressing about it wont bring it here any sooner! do they usually use UPS of FedEX btw? cause i have next day shipping so

    It will come, as stated they will let you know about the time it ships. Keep a close eye on your account the order is there and will show shipped long before you get an email. :cool:

    ok thanks i was just wondering who would be delivering it fedex or UPS cause they come to my house at different times so i need to know when to be home!

    also when you say 10-14 days do you mean business days? sorry for all the questions! just seems weird i am having to wait so much longer for my 2ed exchange then I did my first

    Usually about 10-14 total-my experience again. Let us know when it lands!

    Also, if they are building a NEW system, it may take longer. A refurb could/would be 'on the shelf' ready to ship. You know?

    Its here and i must say i like some aspects better then my R2 and some worse but overall i think its an upgrade just the issue with the top of my screen not being able to go full screen =[
