    System not sleeping wile on AC power

    Hello all,

    Just got my new m17x-R2 with dual HD5870s. I've installed the 7.863 drivers and also updated the VBIOS on both. I had this problem before and after the updates. My problem is this: when its on battery power, the system enters sleep like a normal laptop (i.e. system shuts down, power indicator pulses slowly), but when it's on AC power, it just goes to a black screen, but the power indicator does not pulse and the keyboard and front vent backlights are still illuminated.

    I have verified the power settings are set to sleep when the lid is closed or when the sleep/suspend button is pressed, but to no avail.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
