    EDIT:

Flashed to test another BIOS then flashed back and the throttle is back. !?!?!?!??

It was working fine with no throttle AND WITH 3D ON. What happened?

    EDIT 2:

I think I figured it out. This BIOS was unrelated. I had made a change in the BIOS and it keeps settings after reflashing. I actually had already figured it out but didn't actually know yet :D

I need to enable/disable a few things. Will have the correct options momentarily. This will work as long as you flash an option unlocked BIOS and disable something. Again, will report back in a minute

    EDIT 3:

No amount of options I have changed is getting me back without throttling. IT WAS WORKING. I was playing a 3D game and even ran furmark to test the temperatures. It would throttle down at 78-79c LIKE IT SHOULD BE BASED ON THE vBIOS.

    RAWR.

I wonder if this is just the A04 BIOS patched with A08 string, the NVIDIA driver software looks at its own database and checks the BIOS revisions and boom, it's enabled. That would be TOO easy, right?

Look forward to see more from you :) From what I have gathered. Anything higher than A04 introduces power throttling. Given that the 580m is a very power hungry card, thus it throttles frequently. A04 does not have the power ceiling just a thermal one. If only someone can get 3D on A04 :(
