What kind of diagnostics should I run once my m17x shows up to make sure it isn't broken? Also, can I get a warranty after I've already bought it?

Yes for warranty although I have been told by tech support that it is more expensive to purchase warranty later on than have it upgraded at the time of purchase.

Yeah but it's worth it if you totally wreck it and need a replacement.

You are within a 21 day grace period to send it back for whatever reason. There is no guilt on your part for having to send it back due to any reason.

I didn't say it isn't worth it. I just wanted to tell you that so you wouldn't go in expecting to see the exact same prices as on the configurator menu.
