Other manufactures already officially announced their 560M laptops and some even have them in stock at retailers (MSI GT683R). I see no word from Dell about it , hopefully soon.

    Any expectations? or not much?

nahhh, 6970 FTW! 460/560m are not that powerfull to handle 3d gaming on a laptop) 485m at least...

The 560m has the same core count, same memory interface as the 460m... only higher stock clocks. It seems to be only a higher binned 460m, nothing to get really excited about. I expect it will perform about the same as the 470m.

Assuming 560M = 470M, Looking at 470 compared to 6970 game benchmarks , On average its a trade between 10 FPS and 3D capability , Am I missing something here?

There is 15% better performance with 560M compared to 460M according to Anandtech.

is tdp the same, or improved? curious to see what (if any) battery life improvement there will be in GTX 560M/120Hz 3D units as compared to the GTX 460M/120Hz 3D units...

Wasn't really sure I would enjoy the 3D effect in gaming , to my surprise I enjoy it alot. I have been watching the rumors @ a new GPU for my r3, I was hoping for a 485M but maybe for a little less money the 560 will do better with 3D rendering than the 460. I guess only time will tell. You can be sure Ill be checking here, no matter what all the reviewers say, for the real verdict.

Same here, the 485M would be very nice but I'm trying to get 3D capability for under 2k. So I'll be happy with a 560M even if it was a minor upgrade.

it would be kinda cool to fit in a gtx 560 in the m14x..sigh i just hope so.

replace the 460m with the 560m definitely for 3d users newer is always better! well in this case :D
