    I own a M17x R4 with 660m installed from factory

I know its very early to speculate but any expertise on the subject would be great and i was wondering if you could upgrade my video to the latest greatest of the 700

The latest and greatest is not out yet, only up to the low mid range cards.

A 750M has an identical chip to yours.

Only difference is higher clocks right?

heard that even the 780m won't be a as big a step up from 680m. only time will really tell though, maybe nvidia has something up their sleeve. :p

Yes the clocks, how much depends on the game and the chip temperature.

The GTX 780m will probably be the GTX 680mx with GPU Boost 2.0

When I look on nvidias website I only see the gtx 680mx. When I look at desktops there are gtx 690 and gtx titan. It looks though like the gtx 690 is still better than the titan but the titan is a single GPU not dual GPU like the 690.

I'm very tempted to take out the gtx 670 FTW card I put in my desktop (which is basically a 680 with better cooling) and get the titan though it is 1k and I built my desktop not even a year ago lol.

It will probably be the 680mx with lower GPU clocks, like 700MHz.

We would have to wait until the 1st benchmarks are out to see what the increase in performance is. I personally don't think that the will be more than 10-20% the most.
