    If your sitting in front of window with the glare coming right in on your computer then yes it can be quite irritating....if you use a laptop like a normal person :p then I don't find it to be that bad at all. I prefer glossy to non-glossy myself and if you find it to much there are screen gloss reduction kits you can buy if you find it horrible.

    works fine for me, but then again I live in Alaska and it's dark a lot. :p

    I would say it all depends on your situation. If you are in a bright area, yes it is pretty bad, but what glossy screen isn't? My R2 sits indoors all day, so it doesn't bother me, plus it's RGBLED.

    I asked the same thing before I bought it :) not nearly as bas as I thought.
    Well if you take it to the beach, then yea it prolly will be bad

    Yeah I agree it's not nearly as bad as some glossy screens I've come across in the past. Just choose your position wisely and light reflection is not a problem.

    Keep your screen titled away from the keyboard cos that thing lights up like New York at thanksgiving!
