Has anyone had any luck getting this to run at a decent framerate with the 460m? I downloaded the beta drivers, uninstalled 3d drivers, set it to low, and I'm still getting around 20 FPS.
Do we just have to wait for the patch and nvidia driver updates?

Try to see if AA, and ubersampling are enabled.
-
Yea, even with my desktop GTX 275 I was only able to run it with ubersampling turned off.
-
Hmm, my colleague has the Asus G73sw with the 460gpu and on medium settings he gets a good 30 FPS.
Have you downloaded the latest patch? -
I'm downloading the game right now, I've a 460m with the 120hz monitor, will post results soon.

Granted I don't have the 460m, but I am playing Witcher 2 with almost everything enabled and graphics to high (the video settings on this are weird) but originally I had ubersampling on and my framerates were horrid. Now with AA and Ubersampling off, the lowest I hit is 30 FPS. So, make sure Ubersampling is off.

Although the game is addictive, I couldnt play it beyond flotsam, Im hoping a fix comes through for the stuttering, its just unplayable.
The game has so many bugs! There is a mission in flotsam where you will suddenly lose dialogue audio! You have to be an internet detective to figure out that you have to start a new game from the beginning, where audio is restored and then load your most recent save.
Another glitch, that I didnt realize I even had until I couldnt progress in a mission "In the Claws of Madness", was that I couldnt engage in dialog with any NPC!!! Again, as an internet detective, it took me a LONG time and I mean like at least 6 hours to figure out that my Catalyst Application Profile was incompatible with my driver.
I only learned both of these solutions after re-installing the game twice.
What a delight!
Im not kidding, I probably spent a good 12 hours tinkering with this game, not going to return to it until a fix for the stuttering is out.
I am already on the 11.5b with the latest CAP. -
Just tried it today, I don't know the actual FPS but it never hit 60 just by the feel and lack of smoothness.
At low settings however, the game looks worse than the first Witcher, even though it has crappy graphics. -
CptXabaras Overclocked, Overvolted, Liquid Cooled
Install 11.6 or better the 11.7 preview and it will be fixed
