    Anyone knows where i can buy some thermal padding for my 6990 cards? Seems the stock dell drivers are not enough, and i have to buy addional thickrt ones :( beeb looking like crazy, and no luck :(

    Yeah i would go with the 1.0mm pads. I used the 0.5 on the vram of the 6990m and it didnt make good contact. Plus Im almost 100% sure the stock pads on the vram of the 6990m are 1.0mm (I measured and have a thread on this).

    I used the 0.5 mm fujipoly pads. Some of the pads you are replacing definitely are 0.5 mm, but others are much thicker. I simply stacked multiple layers in certain areas as necessary and it worked great.
