o_O wow...Never reached that temperature before lol..

btw, the temperature reading from GPU-z on my r3 is also questionable..on gpuz version 0.5.1 i have about 59-60C reading..Seconds later, I open the gpuz version 0.5.2 and I have about 65-68C reading.. o_O

I uninstalled dell video drivers, used driver sweeper to erase all and anything ati related.

Now, when i install the Catalyst Control Center 63.6 MB 11.2 2/15/2011

Everything seems okay, but in device manager it still shows VGA graphics adapter, and CCC doesnt open... any idea why?

32767 is -1 displayed as an unsigned int. Apparently they assumed (rightly) that the GPU temperature would never be below 30F

No help on the drivers, but don't worry about melting holes in the earths crust with your GPU :)

    I happens to me before,

What I did was , Uninstall CCC , Restart with safe mode.
Clean drivers with driver sweeper. Restart.

    Then install official m17x-R2 Driver.

    Drivers & Downloads

Then only Install the CCC 11.2 again.

    LOL, you're on fire :p
Happens to me once, for the correct drivers installation, uninstall the current one with CCleaner, clean the system and clean the registry, go to device admin and screen adapters or monitor adapter, right click and uninstall then, go to ; Restart in safe mode, run driver sweeper, close and re-run driver sweeper (until find nothing), run CCleaner (Cleand system and registry), restart in normal mode, Run driver sweeper and CCleaner and install (Yeah, lots, but it's safe)

That's some impressive temps right there.

You know your graphics cards are powerful when they're hotter than the sun!
