    Currently running a Radeon HD 6900M and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on a new vid card that is more powerful but for a decent price. How much to get something like that installed? Links would be great.

    Do you have the R3? Having owned a 6990M previously, I can say that the 7970M was a huge boost in performance and overclocks very well. These can be picked up relatively cheaply (~$300-350) and its pretty easy to install.
    Just look for some videos on Youtube. Other options are GTX 675MX or GTX 680M but the latter is still very expensive and the former isn't as big a boost as a 7970M in performance terms.

    I guess 7970M would be your best value for money option
    And going from AMD to AMD should be a less of problem than going to nvidia

    Expect almost double the performance with 7970M
