    Ok, so I called Dell about getting the Radeon Hd 6970M for my laptop because its in production and they wont let me upgrade it as is. He told me that I have to wait until I have the laptop to sell the part to me. So I told him that I know the part and to at least give me a price.

    His price $139 How can this be if the upgrade is a $200 upgrade when configuring the laptop?!?! If this is correct it would be cheaper to buy the part separately rather than cancel my order and reorder it....

    Any suggestions? The part is $420 at its cheapest on Ebay.....

    I just hope he isn't playing games with you.
    Maybe you should call him again to clarify.
    I wouldn't take his word on it for 60$ difference.

    Well considering the parts guy at dell through chat just gave me an estimated $569 for it.... Yeah. The only thing is this guy was through the government discount line that I somehow got patch to. Cant see it being that large of a discount though.

    Wow they want $569 for it and he just told me its refurbished....

    Wow thats a lot of scratch... :( I also got the 6870 but I am gonna wait for the next top tier card before I upgrade.
