So the good guys over at mvktech overvolted the 580m vbios from the master card of a M18x. Should be the same as the card you have in your systems. Anyways this card has had its highest voltage value taken to 0.92v people should be able to reach significantly higher overclocks with this. I would be amazed if people could hit 560 Ti levels. (One guy in the Clevo forums did it, so game faces on people!)

Lucky guys, Wish I had the money to pick up a pair, though I doubt they would work in the R2, and even so, the needed PSU isn't compatible. This should no doubt provide some interesting benchmarks.

im not exactly sure why you want to update the bios.
    just to change the voltage?
one can easily achieve that with software-tools like msi after burner or nvidia inspector.

maybe its something else im missing here?!

You can't change the voltage with software on mobile cards.

There's no way you could increase the mobile GPU's voltage without proper bios flash on Nvidia cards cause it's simply locked in any of the software-tools like msi after burner or nvidia inspector etc. Don't know about AMD cards though... Must remain the same!

Desktop cards on the other hand can be easily overvolted with the supported software!
