    Hello,

I think yesterday when I turned on my computer the touchpad did not turn on. It does not matter so much because I use a mouse anyway. I knew the touchpad was off because the blue-light from my laptop that sorrounds the touchpad is off. How can I turn it back on?

Thank you very much, that solved the problem.

Do you recommend having it off if I am using a mouse? Does it make any difference?

If you're typing it is extremely easy to rub the mouse pad accidentally and move your cursor around which can be very annoying.

It doesn't make a difference, it's usually turned off to avoid a secondary pointing input (like accidentally moving the cursor with your arm while typing).

Hello, in Comand Center in AlienTouch-> Touch you have an option that said ''disables the touchpad when you connect a USB mouse'' or similar. Is an interesant options. Try it.

You're welcome. As said, it doesn't actually matter. I leave mine off so I don't accidentally use it :)

IMHO, turn it off. If not, you will be flaming frustrated when typing and you move the cursor because the palm of your hand rubbed against the touchpad.
