    Hello Everyone
Over the weekend, I ordered a spare touchpad because my current one is all scratched up and the covering was peeling off. However, I'm pretty sure I need to disassemble the machine, including the graphic card/cpu. So my question is, will I actually need to do that? And if I do, will I need to reapply thermal paste since I do recall from the last visit from a technician, he stated that I would need to apply thermal paste every time.

Better to read the manual. You don't have to dissemble the whole laptop, just up to the palm rest (page 45).
