    Triple screen m17x for travel!

    I have an idea, and I think it may actually work.... want your guys take on this.

    So over on overclock.net there is a thread about making a custom screen out of 3 ipad retna screens and some controllers for the lcds.
    custom screen 31" - 3600x1600 - cost 250$

    Seeing this thread game me a idea.
    Take 2 lcd assemblies (complete ones, lcd, bezel, and back cover)
    2 of these controllers (they are on ebay for about $40 each)

    Now I can put the controller into the lcds, so they work as 17.3 inch stand alone screens. I can then use the m17xr4 video outputs to plug those extra screens in. Making some sort of mounting clips so I can attach them to the stock screen.

    Now the system would only be halfway portible.... I wouldnt be able to game with the extra lcds unless I had a power outlet, but you cant game with the m17x with out the charger plugged in anyhow.

    So, thoughts?
