    Trouble with Mic

    So I have an external logitech mic that i use for in game chat and skype. Since i've gotten this laptop i have not been able to activate the mic or get it to work i have reinstalled the audio drivers there is nothing under recording devices. The computer runs windows 8. Please help

    Cannot activate the external mic via the Control Panel in windows? Did this external mic come with any proprietary software? Did you install the drivers for the mic itself?
