I am having trouble getting the built in mic on the M17x R3 to work in Portal 2. When I go into the audio setting in the game it is detecting the microphone (IDT High Definition) however it is not picking up any sound. When I go into the control panel and going into sound there is two options. Microphone (IDT High Definition) and Microphone Array (IDT High Definition). Both have little meters on the right side of them and only the microphone array is picking up sound. I have not played with any of the options. I can not change the option in Portal 2 to microphone array. Any suggestions to fix this so I can use the built in mic? Thanks.

I believe portal uses whatever is your default. You'll need to make the array your default in recording options.

    Thanks,
