Trouble with new dell stock Radeon 7970m drivers

I was running the 12.5 mod drivers and I could OC to 935/1400 no problem but now with these new dell drivers the screen freaks out whenever I OC even 1 MHz. When I OC on the dell driver it makes the screen/programs flicker when ever I scroll on websites or open/move programs. I have a Hunch it has to do with the 2d driver clocks some how. This also happens when I use the 12.7 drivers. Any help is appreciated.

 

i'm not sure if it helps for you, but i have no problems using 12.6. imo worth a try.
amd driver downloader will prompt you to dl 12.6 last time i checked.
btw i also have the same problem with flickering under 12.7 beta and i never bothered to try DELL's latest amd driver.

 

I have the same problem with the latest Dell 7970m drivers. Installed and overclocked successfully @ 950/1500 the first night and ran 3dmark 11 fine.

The next day I opened up firefox and noticed the screen started flickering with all these black shaded squares. Tried clean reinstall - same problem.

History:
The first Dell 7970m drivers were fine with the overclock.
12.5 overclocked fine for me too.
12.7 beta overclocked fine and is what I'm running now, but have some slight flickering here and there, sometimes fixed by resetting clocks back to default and then applying overclock again.

*Haven't tried 12.6 yet though.

 

well I started playing online on bad company 2 and while playing I OC'ed back to 935/1400 and it was fine for 2 hours. I got off the game and now the flickering is gone. Im confused but glad that it stopped. This is on dells newest drivers. I just felt that being on 12.5 was obsolete with all the new ones coming out.
