    Does anyone know if the ULV i7's will be coming to M17x?

    Err... Never I expect/hope. I don't have an M17x, but a ulv would sort of defeat the purpose of it's existence.

    ULV = Ultra Low Voltage, meaning Ultra Low Performance as well. An i7 ULV will run only at a fraction of the performance of a normal mobile i7's. Those ULV's are typically found in netbooks and notebooks 13" and under.

    Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up for me guys. That means that nothing new should be coming to the M17x until the new set of intel processors are released(Sandy Bridge I think)?

    As they updated the GPU(s) recently, That would probably be an accurate assessment.

    No, the M17x will be getting Core i7 740qm, 840qm and 940xm soon. Minor upgrade over the regulars. Info on it here

    ULV for M17x would be like making a hybrid Hummer :).

    So when can we expect the 740, 840 and 940's to be out for the Alienware?Would there also be a price increase for them?
