    USB ports right side sometimes doesnt work M17XR2

    Hi guys, as the tittl say, those ports sometimes stop working without a reason, i plug on it my iPod and USB drives, just for test i plug them on the left side and work as usual, the only way so far i realized to make them (right side) work is restarting the laptop, do you know what could be happening here?
    Thanks for your help, this is really annoying.

    The right side ports are on a separate board that connects to the motherboard. Maybe the plug is a little loose though i doubt, it's pretty hard to get it out in the first place but it doesn't hurt to visually check, maybe a loose/stripped wire.

    I would check that first.

    Thanks, mate, the machine is almost new (january) and it never got tear down before, anyway, as i said, if i restart the ports start to work again, for me, it looks like software related or driver, cause if there were something loose it should be "fixed" if i move the ports with the USB drie or cable, but it doesn't, it happen already twice, is not constantly, but it's annoying when happens.
