    Hello all,

    I'm currently on a Alienware M17X-R2,

    So i decided to give my computer a complete wipe,
    What i did was that i took the Alienware Windows 7 CD Which came along together when i bought this laptop, and i tried to boot it, and this picture up there came out, any help please? please assist :confused:

    DAuphine, did you go into the bios, set your first boot device to DVD?

    you usually only get that error if you try to Run it inside of windows,OR if you select "UPGRADE" during the install. you need to select 'CUSTOM" it will be the 2nd choice on the screen.
