Hello guys, I just would like to know how come my Alienware M17X couldn't recognize my xBox 360 controller (Razer Onza Tournament Edition for xBox 360 and PC) I thought at first, that my Razer Onza wasn't working properly. But when I tried it on my desktop it worked out quite well. I think it has something to do with what I've done with my Alienware before. I installed my Solid State Drive as my primary resulting to a format of my OS. Did I miss a driver that I was supposed to install? Mr. Fox told me to just get a backup of my OS with the AlienRespawn through the use of backup CDs so I can install my original alienware OS to the new SSD. Should I reformat and do a clean install once again or just, download a missing driver. This controller I bought is supposed to be a plug and play controller, and it doesn't need drivers for it to work. I don't know what's going on in here, but I pretty much think it is a missing driver.![]()

Xbox360 controllers should be automatically recognised by windows and it should then install the correct driver when you first plug the controller in after your format. Try uninstalling current driver and trying again (or try updating driver in windows). You can also get the software for the controller that comes in the box, here:

I use Onza too..... and it worked fine. the device manager detect it as xbox 360 controller though....
The only problem is, I cant using the 2 additional programming bumper button. Maybe it's only working for 360... not for PC..... -
Tried downloading the official Microsoft xBox 360 Driver, but my alienware can't still recognize the Razer Onza, this calls for a fresh Windows 7 installation right?

It needs to be plugged into the eSATA port - the Razer Onza Tournament Edition is USB 2.0 only.
I have the same controller and ran into the same problem. -
Oh! Thank goodness! But how can I do that? Should I get a USB hub that is 2.0?
EDIT: Found the eSATA port, still doesn't work. What's wrong with this controller.
EDIT2: OH MY GOD! DJSTARSCREAM! <3 THANKS MAN! IT WORKED! I just uninstalled my controller driver from my computer then plugged it back in to the eSATA port! Thanks a bunch my friend! -
