    Update to 344.65 driver?

    Hey guys,

    As of right now I just restored my Alienware 17 back to factory. I have a question though. Should I let NVIDIA update my 331.65 driver to the 344.65 driver?

    The reason I ask is because as of right now it seems like all my games work just fine. I restored my computer to actually test this. It seems that Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 may not like the 344.65 drivers. I had those installed on my old installation and the games would not respond well. I even had the mouse flickering constantly in game.

    I'd love to update but am afraid of doing this because I'm not sure if I will end up with the same result. My main question is will it hurt to update the driver through NVIDIA or should I just stick with the recent driver that Dell has out right now which would be the 331.65?

    Dell will not update their graphics drivers more. Then you must use drivers from Nvidia's website. The majority, I think using the latest driver for Nvidia successfully. It came new driver versions that were better on weak processors from beta version 337.50. You should use newer driver if playing latest games. :thumbsup:
