    Hello,

    I had problems doing a direct driver update (I mean to download latest driver update and directly run it) as it freezes in middle of installation. So I followed this step by step instruction how to unstall current driver first then installing new one:

    Updating/Installing/Fixing 5/6/7/8/9/200/400 Drivers READ

    But when I got to these steps:
    "1. Right click on Computer---->Properties
    2. Click on Device Manager
    3. Expand Dislpay Adapters
    4. Right Mouse Button over the Video card Name
    5. Select Uninstall, Click Delete the driver software for this Device"

    I found that I have 3 graphics cards, the 2 SLIed GTX 260M and the other 9400M G.. So I wonder, is there a specific way or order that I shall follow in order to update the drivers? should I remove them all & them look for updates for the GTX 260M and the 9400M G? or I just have to remove the GTX 260M ones and update and that's it..?

    I dunno.. I'm really confused, any help guys?

    Yes it is correct there are 3 GPUs in your system. 2 discrete and one onboard your motherboard gpu.

    There are quite a number of new Nvidia GPU drivers out there atm. You only need to install one set per instance. Not one driver install per GPU. You can use either the Nvidia drivers from Nvidia.com or the drivers from the Dell support page directly. Choose one and download them.
    You can also download GPU-z and use that to check what driver version you have currently installed on your gpus if any.

    I'm not sure of your OS specs so you will need to set those into your search parameters and driver downloads as well.

    I'm not sure if you want to be using the 9400m or hybrid SLi setup or not. If so you should 1st enable them in the BIOS graphics card section. Enable Hybrid SLi and Integrated GPU. If you just want to be using the GTX 260m SLi GPUs then disable the hybrid SLi and Integrated GPU.
    Next you can tap F8 and load the OS into Safe mode and then run Driver sweeper to clean out your Nvidia display drivers.
    Then restart into normal windows mode again.
    Now you can install the new set of Nvidia drivers. Install and restart. Cheers.
