Hi, first sorry for my English I'm learning .
I'm thinking about upgrade my 7970m to a 780m because I really want to play battlefield 4 and I'm having a lot of problems with my 7970m I have the last drivers and try all the beta drivers I did turn off the enableulps and oc the gpu to 950/1400 but in ultra I'm getting about 50 to 30 fps and some time the game run very bad . Do you guys think I will see a diferent with a 780m ?? And how much it cost ??? Thanks very much

In my personal opinion I think you should wait a little longer since the new generation with pop up sooner than you can imagine... GeForce 780m is a powerful card, since you come from a 7970M I do not see that much of an upgrade... If you had a 6970M or 6990M, I would say go for it. If money is not an issue for you, then go for it... Price range could be from $700-$1100, depends where you are buying it from. You can search on ebay; myself, I would prefer to buy it directly from dell if I had the possibility, its the most reliable source (though it may be more expensive).

Don't waste your money when you have 7970m already, 780m is by far 15% quicker, which will rize your AVG FPS from 30 to 33 which is not that much of a difference.
And you will throw money out of a window.

Wait for next gen cards, till then, lower down the effects......780m waste of money...(when you have 7970m)

I would suggest the same, stay with the 7970. Better drivers will come with time.

Also in AMD's defense, BF4 has been having a lot of issues since release so I would really just give it some time before dumping that much into a new GPU, it may not even solve your problems fully. There were also new beta drivers release yesterday, so if you are still having trouble maybe give those a shot.
