    Hello all i was wondering what would be the best graphics card I can upgrade to? Spec's in Sig, M17xR2.

    If you want full dell support and warranty, the 5870's.

    If your rich and crazy, xfire 6970's or if you are just insane, the xfire 6990's.
    Not sure how warranty and such works for those though.

    hm okay thanks guys!, is there much of a difference between the 4870's and the 5870's? but im guessing the 69's have a big improvement? just asking cause i dont really want to void my warranty lol

    well the 5870's are essentially an upgraded 4870's. The 6970 is the 2nd best amd laptop card out right now, the 5870's probably the 3rd with the 6870 behind it.
    Try checking out the official benchmark threads and notebookcheck for the speed and power differences between the 5870's and 6970's.
