Hey guys so my Birthday is soon and I had some ideas in mind:

    - A new headset

    - More memory (8GB from 4GB)

    - And a new HDD for storage a long side my SSD.

I had the following items in mind to fill these spots:

    - Headset: Razor Megalodon 7.1 Gaming Headset

    - Momentus-XT 500GB 2.5'' Hybrid HDD

    - Memory: (None yet)

And as for more memory I was not sure what to choose. Suggestions for memory and advice on my ideas would be great.

Megalodon is an excellent choice! Best headset I have ever owned.

I got no improvement in performance going from 4GB to 8GB of RAM. If you're using RAM intensive applications and are already seeing issues, that is grounds for an upgrade. The Seagate XT is meant for speed, so I would (and am going to) get the 750GB 7K2 HDD from Newegg for more storage.

    Thank you darlings

EDIT: How would I store the stock components? I presume I need some anti-static bags for old HDD and RAM
