    Upgrading DVD/CD RW Drive

    My Alienware M17X-R3 only has a dvd/cd rw drive in it. I am wanting to upgrade to a 3D Blu Ray DVD/CD RW drive, would you all recommend replacing the one in the laptop or purchasing an external one and leaving the factory one alone?

    Either way could I get some opinions on the best to get on the external and if go the route of replacing the internal one where would I go about finding one that will fit my laptop?
