Hey guys, I have an M17x R4 and I was wanting to play a game I just bought with a requirement to have atleast a 3.0ghz but I only have a 2.40ghz. Is there a way I could upgrade my CPU?

The game is Cities: Skylines and heres my computer specs

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz ~2.40GHz

Hi, What game? GPU will be more important in games, and you may be reading the CPU specs wrong. 3.0ghz usually refers to the older core 2 CPU's? what GPU do you have?

    • MINIMUM:
      • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, 3.0GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+, 3.2GHz
Your quadcore will be fine :)

Any CPU that laptop should have come with should be more then adequate for Cities.
